Booking Terms and Conditions
Minimum Stay
The minimum rental period is 7 consecutive nights.
Payment Terms
- To confirm your reservation, a 25% prepayment of the total rental amount must be made within 7 days of booking.
- The remaining balance must be paid no later than 4 weeks before arrival.
- A mandatory cleaning fee applies to all bookings and must be paid in full.
Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations made more than 4 weeks before arrival will receive a refund of the prepayment, minus a cancellation fee of €100 (excluding IGIC) and any transfer/transaction costs incurred.
- Cancellations made less than 4 weeks before arrival are non-refundable.
- Shortening your stay after booking is considered a partial cancellation and is subject to the standard cancellation fee.
Changes to Booking
- Minor adjustments to your travel dates (e.g., moving the arrival or departure by 1–2 days) are allowed, provided the total duration remains unchanged and the period is not moved to another season or time of year.
- A change fee of €50 (excluding IGIC) applies to such modifications.
Insurance Recommendation
If you are forced to cancel within the non-refundable period, you may still be able to recover your expenses through your travel insurance.
Please ensure your insurance covers rentals of private vacation apartments (Vivienda Vacacional), not just hotels or resorts. In some cases, past guests have successfully claimed refunds from their insurer with proper documentation.
Licensing and Occupancy
- All apartments are legally registered as holiday rentals and hold a Vivienda Vacacional (Vv) license.
- The maximum occupancy is strictly limited to the number of official sleeping spaces. For example, an apartment with 4 beds may accommodate a maximum of 4 guests.
- If more people arrive than the registered capacity allows, access to the apartment will be denied.
Language
All communication, booking confirmations, and rental agreements will be provided in English or Norwegian.
Tourist Tax
As of January 1st, 2025, the municipality of Mogán (where Aquamarina is located) has introduced a tourist tax, which is already included in the rental price.
